30W Solar Panel:

This kit features a waterproof, high-efficiency 30W solar panel, ideal for permanent outdoor use. It provides free power for charging a 12V battery, which can then power various devices for applications like motorhomes, caravans, campers, boats, solar lighting, and off-grid or backup power systems in garages, sheds, farms, etc. It is also suitable for maintaining larger battery banks in a fully charged state.

The panel’s durable, high-efficiency polycrystalline cells and tough, sealed aluminum frame ensure years of consistent, free power. Its waterproof design allows for use in all weather conditions.

The panel comes with a 5m thick twin-core cable attached to the waterproof junction box on the back. Note that the junction box protrudes about 0.5cm beyond the frame, requiring a 1.0-1.5cm space under the panel for cooling during installation.

5A Solar Charge Controller:

Included in this kit is an advanced 5A solar charge controller designed to protect your 12V battery during charging. The controller features a 5V USB port (1.2A output) for fast charging of USB-compatible devices like mobile phones, tablets, and MP3 players. It also has load terminals for connecting 12V loads (e.g., lights).

The controller supports sealed, gel, and flooded batteries, with easy battery type selection. It stops reverse current at night, preventing battery discharge through the solar panel, and offers protections against overcharge, over-discharge, overload, short circuit, and overheating. Additional features include LED indicators, a battery type switch, and a load “on/off” button.

Additional Items:

The kit includes a 2m battery cable with a fuse and crocodile clips for easy battery connection. A user manual is provided for quick and safe installation. Advanced users will find an additional manual for the solar controller (see documents tab).
